Sutton Valance travelled to Burt Ash in Storm Darragh which brought with it icy winds and rain.
First half did not go according to plan as with the rain falling this created a very slick surface and the ball was moving around the pitch at pace. Burnt Ash capitalised on this and made a few quick movments into Sutton Valances half and in turn the D. With a couple of well hit balls from half way in the D saw the ball flash through the crowd into the net.
Sutton Valance 1-0 down shifted into a higher gear and now accustom to the slick pitch put a string of passes together to threaten the opposition. With a lovely worked ball through to Harrison Sharpe who thundered a shoot from close to the by line flashing past the keeper to the far side of the goal 1-1.
With the game now level Sutton Valance pushed higher up the pitch to Take the lead Burnt Ash pushed back to create a few chances which resulted in two quick goals to end the first half 3-1.
Half time came and team talk was we are still in this we can turn it around.
With a renewed determination Sutton Valance started in a strong manner pinning Burnt Ash in their own half and stringing passes and shoots together only to be narrowly wide or saved by the oppositions keeper.
Sutton Valance could not capitalize on the numinous short corners that Burnt Ash was getting Frustrated about giving away.
Shout out has to go to Zak Blanchard and Mike Stapleton for his impressive performance at the back stepping in to deal with through balls and helping link the plays together.
Final Whistle came and now with both teams soaked to the bone retired to Bexley Cricket Club for Teas and Drinks
