Sutton Valence 3rd XI joined the league for the first time two seasons ago in the lowest Division 9 from previously playing friendlies as a Veterans’ team. To their surprise they won promotion to Division 8, in which they again did well enough to be promoted again the following season.

The team is captained by Nick Hall, with Duncan Wills as vice-captain.
